The Surveyor will measure the top, middle and bottom widths of the opening together with the height each side. They will check for obstructions, e.g. electric and gas meters, and survey the ceiling to ensure it is suitable for internal track fittings. In addition to this, and if applicable, they will check for a power supply too.
