Before and during installation
Before we install your garage door, we will ask you to send in a photo via email to help us understand what will be needed in order to carry out the work. We will talk to you about your expectations to ensure that everything is carried out in the way that you are imagining.
On the day of the installation we will carry out work quickly and efficiently, causing a minimum of disruption to your day. Simple installations can take two hours or less, while more complex jobs can take the majority of the day to complete. It should be noted that we can only carry out work if we know where the floor level will be, so that the door can be installed at the correct height. If you are still having the garage built it is important that the garage floor should be finished when we come to install.
Please also take into account the following:
- We require sufficient space to work – please ensure that any cars are moved from inside the garage and that there is nothing blocking the space where the door will extend to
- If we are replacing an existing frame this may have been sealed to the brickwork with mastic. We will do our best to remove mastic and make the work tidy, however you may need to have further work carried out after the installation in complete
- We require you to sign off your garage door installation, so you must be present when the work is being carried out. Once your door is complete, we will take you through a demonstration
