Dan and Ben have been in Epsom installing this Novoferm Novorol 77 motorised roller garage door in Chartwell Green, together with an external manual emergency release. The final look was finished with white PVC to the brick reveals and underside of the lintel. The Novorol 77 comes in a wide range of colours and in made-to-measure sizes.

The previous door was a wooden up-and-over in a tired, weathered condition. The timber finish had faded and was visibly peeling, and the door required regular upkeep to keep it functional. Up-and-over doors also swing outward when opening, requiring clear driveway space in front of the garage, and offer minimal insulation, leaving the garage exposed to draughts and temperature changes year-round.

The Novorol 77 roller door is a complete transformation. Constructed from double-walled aluminium laths filled with insulating foam, it provides a genuine thermal and acoustic barrier. The door lifts vertically and rolls into a full box housing at the head of the opening, so you can park right up to the door without any swing clearance required.
