Garage Door Installation Carshalton, Sutton

Carshalton, Sutton

Another fine example of a fibreglass (GRP) garage door has been installed on a beautiful home in Carshalton last week. A CDC Garage Doors Ltd GRP ‘Cobham’ – woodgrain effect – maintenance free – made to measure – made to order – made in Britain – up and over garage door in white woodgrain. We installed this 4267mm (to be precise) door with a white steel frame to suit and a slow start slow stop belt driven electric operator which comes complete with two remote controlled hand transmitters. We have a range of GRP garage doors to compliment almost any house style – contact one of the team for more information.

The previous garage door had been poorly insulated, leading to extreme temperature fluctuations inside the garage. In winter, the garage was freezing, and in summer, it was unbearably hot. This not only made the garage uncomfortable but also led to higher energy costs as homeowners tried to regulate the temperature. Additionally, the door was prone to warping and needed regular maintenance.

The new garage door installation has significantly improved energy efficiency. The insulated panels in the new door help to regulate the temperature inside the garage, keeping it comfortable throughout the year. The door also features a durable finish that resists warping and is virtually maintenance-free.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Garage door was fitted six years ago. It developed a fault and I phoned the office. Spoke to an engineer who advised that I tried replacing batteries in the system. New batteries solved the problem. Much cheaper than a call out fee. So it's not all about company profit, more about customer service. Hurrah

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Wessex installed our garage door a couple of years and we were very happy with both the service and the actual product.
When one of the springs popped off I called and spoke with Beth who arranged for a new spring to be dropped off to me whilst I was away which I fitted in seconds and all works perfectly again.
Excellent service, high quality product and design and really nice people to deal with.
