Wessex Garage Doors is looking to recruit a Garage Door Installation Engineer

Working for one of the UK’s largest independent garage door retailers, you will be installing, repairing and servicing garage doors across the South East.

Whether working on residential properties or large-scale building sites, delivering a high standard of customer service is essential at all times.

Please note that this role involves heavy manual work and is primarily outdoors.

We are happy to provide full training for candidates with the right skills and background. While previous experience in garage door installation is not required, a background in a related trade – such as window fitting or carpentry – would be advantageous.

Ongoing training and support will be provided.

Essential Skills/Competencies

• Solid practical and hands-on skills
• Full driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Strong communication skills
• Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused
• Smart and presentable appearance
• Professional and reliable approach to work

Desirable 

• Experience working in the Garage Door/Construction Industry
• CSCS card, although not essential

This is a permanent, full-time position.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, plus rostered Saturdays, 9:00am – 12:00pm (hours may vary depending on business needs).

Salary: £30,000–£38,000 per annum, depending on experience.
