We aim to provide a safe and efficient delivery as fast as we can and on a date that is convenient for you. However, delivery times can vary as they depend on manufacturers – this is because every GRP garage door we offer is made-to-order. We will keep you informed of likely completion and delivery dates, and provide you with updates whenever we can. We cannot, however, make any promises on your initial order. As soon as your garage door is available we will arrange a delivery date.

Delivering and Installing Your Door

Wessex Garage Doors will deliver and install your garage door free of charge as a part of the service that we provide. We can deliver to virtually anywhere in the mainland UK, but if you have concerns about your location it is best to ask us first.

If you do not require or wish for our installation service, we can simply deliver the door to you, although this may incur a delivery charge of around £35 – £55 based on location. It may also be possible for you to arrange collection from our depot.

GRP Garage Door Delivery Requirements

There are a number of requirements that we ask our customers to fulfil in order for us to deliver to you. Please make sure that:

• You have provided us with the correct contact name, telephone number, address and postcode for the property we are delivering to
• You will be available at the time of delivery to sign a proof of delivery statement
• There is suitable access for a large lorry including through the surrounding area, ensuring there are no height, weight or width restrictions on the route

If the lorry driver finds that delivery cannot be completed safely or that the access is otherwise unsuitable, your delivery will be cancelled. You will then be required to provide an alternative route.
